Book of Dreams II

Book of Dreams II alludes to Joseph's Coat of Many Colors. Reinike uses the rainbow as a symbol of the colors in the coat and as a symbol of God's Covenant with Mankind.

The central arch is surrounded by hieroglyphs and hieratic script (writing used in everyday commerce),  alluding to the writings on an ancient papyrus fragment describing methods of interpreting dreams – an ancient how-to book.

Reinike built the frame, which he gold-leafed and toned.
