Jubilee

Henry Callahan’s Jubilee embodies the sensual raw energy and emotive power of Abstract Expressionism. Dominated by a vivid red field, the canvas bursts with dynamic vertical strokes of green and black, creating a powerful visual dialogue of color and form. Energetic splashes of white punctuate the composition, injecting a charged vitality that speaks to the painting's raw, celebratory, and deeply visceral essence. Through bold gestures and layered textures, Callahan invites viewers into a world where color and subliminal forms collide, offering a unique and compelling experience.
