Tribute to the Wetlands -The oil spill in the Gulf of Mexico made us aware of how much we are all affected and influenced by the wetlands and the ocean. The artists who show at Reinike Gallery have frequently referenced these wonderful waters in their paintings. Tribute to the Wetlands compiles these works. The artists approach the subject in individual ways - sometimes via very straight-forward representations and sometimes through allusion or humor. Here's a quick overview of the show.
