Streaming

Streaming explores the human search for ultimate purpose, whether through spiritual belief or intellectual pursuit. Vertical, undulating lines rise in parallel formation, representing different paths toward God or Awareness. The lines are embedded with figures, all advancing simultaneously along their individual paths, which are superimposed over the archway and brilliant light.

Each path contains a figure singled out with a nimbus, representing an exemplary person whose life and actions may serve as a guide for others. The figures are similar, but their paths are different, suggesting that enlightenment can be reached through many different approaches. Whether the goal is spiritual or intellectual, there is no single method of reaching ultimate awareness.

The arch represents the ultimate pathway to perfection, while the brilliant light represents the source of everything—God or Awareness. The wavy lines suggest that the path to truth is never straight for the inquisitive mind, while the interconnected timeline of humanity reminds us that we are connected to both the past and the future, genetically and intellectually.
